After the brand's hit men's fragrance Lapidus Pour Homme from 1978, which is also one of the bestsellers of the house, and its successor Lapidus Pour Homme Black Extreme from 2012, the house of Ted Lapidus releases another masculine fragrance named Lapidus Pour Homme Gold Extreme. Both are created as classic, sophisticated and more contemporary versions of the first perfume. Lapidus Pour Homme Gold Extreme provides an elegant composition. It opens with a blend of pink grapefruit, warm spices, and sweet orange in top notes, combined with hot spices in the heart, among which are cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. The base of the composition is even warmer in the heart and creates masculine harmony intertwined of amber, vanilla, leather and vetive. Ted Lapidus Pour Homme Gold is a new fragrance in the Ted Lapidus Gold Extreme collection. This time it's available in a bottle of the same form as fragrances Lapidus Pour Homme and Lapidus Pour Homme Black Edition, but this time in golden color.

About Ted Lapidus:

Ted Lapidus fashions offered a distinct unisex style that was much in-demand in the revolutionary 1960s. Lapidus designs often featured safari themes and military elements such as epaulettes on the shoulders. He is widely credited with helping to popularize blue jeans in mainstream fashion. Lennon of the Beatles wore a white suit designed by Lapidus on the cover of Abbey Road. Ted Lapidus is also notable for being one of the first fashion designers to use mass market production techniques, thereby making his fashions more affordable to the average consumer. The brand expanded into accessories in the 1970s, as interest in haute couture began to fade. One of the earliest designers to form a partnership for the production of fragrances, Lapidus first collaborated with L'Oreal in 1970 to offer fragrances under the Ted Lapidus brand that are still popular today.

Ted Lapidus is a French perfume house. In 1989 Ted Lapidus's son Oliver took over the house. In 2000 the Ted Lapidus label officially ended its couture division and focused exclusively on accessories and fragrances. Ted Lapidus passed away in 2008. Vu was the first fragrance, a men's scent which appeared in 1975 when the fragrance license was held by L'Oreal. The fragrance license for Ted Lapidus transferred to the Jacques Bogart Group in 1983.
