    Product Description

Un Jardin En Mediterranee by Hermes Unisex Fragrance

    • Concentration: Eau De Toilette
    • Size: 100 ml

An olfactory portrait of the most beautiful garden in the world, like a watercolour. This perfume, composed in 2003 is inspired by a hint of the poetic throughout the Tunisian garden of Lela Menchari (Director of displays for Hermes). Like a travel journal, it evokes that paradise-like universe of shade, water and light, based on the theme of a fig tree in the morning and Mediterranean citrus. A single spritz of the eau de toilette will last longer than all other scents. Apply in the creases of your skin and neck for a longer-lasting, stronger scent. After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing, as this tends to rinse off the scent.

    About Hermes:

Hermes is a French luxury goods house founded in 1837 by Thierry Hermes. Starting as a purveyor of equestrian accessories, the company has evolved over time into leather handbags, scarves, accessories, fashion and fragrance. For Hermes, the adventure begins with perfume in 1951 with Eau dHermes, composed by Edmond Roudnitska, one of the greatest creative spirits of the world of fragrances. The encounter between the founder's grandson and perfumer Edmond Roudnitska gives birth to Eau d'Hermes, which remains one of the crowning glories of French perfumery. Hermes has been making perfumes in-house for over a century. Ten years later, the birth of Caleche, the establishments first womens perfume, confirmed the involvement of Hermes in the craft of perfume creation. Since then, fragrance has followed fragrance, each signed by the great names of perfume design. The arrival of Jean-Claude Ellena , in 2004, as the in-house perfumer for Hermes, was a decisive step. As an artist with a sense of olfactory emotion, an aesthete who goes beyond scale and material , he shares Hermes sense of craftsmanship and expertise." The encounter between Edmond Roudnitska and Emile Hermes gave birth to Eau dHermes, which remains one of the crowning glories of French perfumery. In 1961, at the prompting of Jean-Rene Guerrand?, who was son-in-law of Emile Hermes and founder of the fragrances branch,? the perfumer ?Guy Robert composed Caleche, a masterpiece which instantly transformed Hermes into one of the major players of modern perfumery. Nine years later, moreover, he would be the author of Equipage for men?.
