Top notes are plum, wild berries, coriander, anise and Brazilian rosewood; the heart has tuberose, incense, white honey, cinnamon, opoponax, carnation and jasmine; base notes are vanilla, amber, sandalwood, musk, Heliotrope and Virginia cedar. Dior's style was clearly modern and very French. His gowns were elegant and he used fabric in a rich and sumptuous way, although by today's standards his clothes were quite plain.
