A dreamlike white-floral chord unfolds first, creamy gardenia lit by a cool saffron glow and a sharp twist of Sichuan pepper that keeps the opening crisp, not sugary. The heart grows fuller and more voluptuous as tuberose, jasmine, lily, ylang-ylang, and orange blossom bloom together, warmed by a cinnamon-like cassia nuance that adds depth and texture. In the dry down, everything turns drier and more mysterious, with papyrus and orris giving a smooth, powdery “paper” feel, while patchouli and incense bring a smoky, resinous signature that lingers close to the skin with elegant intensity.
