About The Brand:

Jean-Louis Scherrer is an iconic Belgian fashion designer known for his work with leather. An expert on technique, Scherrer first studied at London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design before opening his own couture house in Paris in 1983. It was there that he created leather opera gloves for Queen Elizabeth II on her 1985 European tour. His eponymous line later captured the attention of luxury brand LVMH, which purchased the company in 1992 and dismissed Scherrer soon afterward.
