Launched in 1990 by Lorenzo Villoresi, this niche house is a perfume laboratory made fresh with a collection of fragrances for both women and men. Villoresi Firenze's perfumes are based around a scent known as "Iris Florentina", a flower that is intensely violet-like. Through the addition of different accords to the basic scent, each Lorenzo Villoresi fragrance is distinct from one another...

Passionate about the source of fragrances, he began a long search to find the best essences. He left Italy for the first time to the Middle East. And here, during his first journey, he was conquered by the unique fragrances of the most precious raw materials: Arabian oudh and woody oriental essences such as Mysore sandalwood and agarwood (oud) from Siam (now Thailand).

Through his travels he discovered a passion for Oriental flavours. Lorenzo travelled to the Orient ,to India, Arabia, and Persia ,studying eastern perfumery . He returned to Italy, taking with him a new understanding of eastern potpourri. The oriental essences that Lorenzo brought back influenced the creation of his first personal fragrances and potpourri.
