    This is a real Italian, masculine fragrance that will please the men in your life. The composition of this perfume is delightful and of high quality, just like Trussardi leather belt or portmone. Aromatic, masculine notes of lavender, basil and spruce are in the top, and they lead to the heart of the fragrance which is more spicy that floral: note of rose is followed by bay leaf, cinnamon and carnation. The sharp masculine base is made of patchouli, labdanum, Tonka bean and, of course, leather. The perfume was created by Beatrice Piquet in 1983, and the bottle was designed by Nicola Trussardi.

    Your fragrance will become more intense as your body warms it. Apply it in your creases and neck for a longer-lasting, stronger scent. After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. If you prefer placing this on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing and that you apply and then let dry rather than rubbing or dabbing.

    Trussardi is an Italian fashion and lifestyle brand celebrating 100 years in business in 2011. Founded originally by Dante Trussardi as a glove factory in 1911, the company was successful in this venture and was eventually appointed as a glovemaker for the British Royal Family. The comapny's biggest successes were realized after Dante's grandson Nicola took over the company in 1965. Nicola's age and business sense regarding the social changes of the 1960s helped propel this company to international fame as a luxury lifestyle goods brand. The most important change made by Nicola Trussardi was the adaptation of a distinct logo that would adorn its products. The Greyhound which would give the brand a unique identifier in the marketplace. Under Nicola's direction, Trussardi expanded from gloves to luggage, handbags, home and office accessories, and leather jackets that were up-to-the minute in trendiness. The company maintained its commitment to fine Italian craftsmanship, and it reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality items spread around the world.

    The house of Trussardi expanded into several different industries including luxury goods, beauty products, and even textiles. They staged their fashion shows at in theatrical halls and were among the first designers to make their shows open to the public. Under Nicolas leadership, Trussardi Group launched the lines Trussardi Jeans, Trussardi Home, Trussardi Baby, Trussardi Junior, and Trussardi Eyewear and Perfumes. Their manufacturing process continues to be one of the highest quality in Europe. Nicola Trussardi's untimely death in 1999 from a car accident has not slowed the success of the company. Trussardi remains a family business under the leadership of Beatrice Trussardi, the fourth generation of the family to hold the reins. Under Beatrice's direction, the company expanded to include brands Cappelli Straworld, Fivestory Tous, Trussardi 1911, Tru Trussardi, TJ and Triver Flight. Since 2005, Trussardi offers perfumes in conjunction with Selective Beauty. Trussardi's first perfume was Trussardi for women, introduced in a leather-encased bottle designed by Nicola Trussardi himself.
